a good painting may come quickly, but there is a great deal
of hard work and endurance to master red, yellow and blue

Susan does beautiful work in portrait and figure drawing in my class and most importantly works at her goal of being the very best. She has a good sense of compositions, draws very well and paints in excellent brushwork, both loosely and in fine detail as fits the situation.
